New App Helps People Helps People Report Dangerous Drivers In Washington D.C.

It can be dangerous to walk or bike around D.C. Many drivers end up in the path of cyclists and pedestrians. Grace McLaurin is a cyclist. She stated that she has rode past many people who were opening their car doors. Yeaty Kponou is another cyclist. He stated that drivers do not respect people who ride their bikes.

Fortunately, there is an app that will help make it safer for pedestrians and cyclists. The name of the app is How’s My Driving. Mark Sussman is the co-founder of the app.

He stated that the purpose of the app is not to tow cars or give out citations. They want people drive safer. You can use the app to report a dangerous driver. You can take a picture of an illegally parked car. You can also take a picture of the license plate number. The app will then show you how many citations the vehicle has.

The creators of the app want to connect it to DC 311 and other government agencies. Mark thinks that this app will make the roads safer for everyone. He stated that if the driver knows that someone can pull out a phone, take a picture of their car and report a violation, then they will think twice about doing something that is illegal.

The How’s My Driving app has not officially been released yet. However, you can sign up for the Beta version of the app. You will need to register using your email address.

You will select the place that you live in order to use the app. After that, you will have to insert the license plate number. You will be able to select from a list of violations. You will also be able to give a description of the type of violation that occurred.
